There are some people who are just simply born to cook. They love everything about preparing and serving elegant and delicious food to those who appreciate it.

Okay... maybe they do hate dish washing as much as everybody else, but there is a rule that says, He who cooks, never cleans, isn't there?

It used to be that those who wanted to earn a culinary degree had to go to a school somewhere far away from their homes. The tuition wasn't exactly cheap, but that was the least of the problems.

Then along came the Internet...the World Wide Web...the Information Superhighway...and made getting a culinary degree a lot easier and a whole heap less expensive.

The food service industry is one that employees more people and provides more full- and part-time employment than any other.

People eat! People may do a lot of other things, but eating is one thing that every person on this planet has in common with every other person. Food and food preparation is a universal concern.

The door is wide open for those who have a culinary degree, whether they got that degree at a brick-and-mortar culinary school or at one of the culinary institutes that are located out in cyberspace.

There are so many things associated with food other than the food itself.

A culinary degree teaches such things as how to manage human resources, the rules of hospitality and ethics, as well as how to create an environment that invites people to enjoy and appreciate the food they are being served. There is just a lot more to cooking for a living than just
cooking.

An online culinary degree requires that students attend and participate in online classes at least 15 hours each week, and there will be times spent reading, researching, and completing assignments.
