 Education is a fundamental human right and this much information is enough to understand the significance of education in human life. But, realization of significance is not only thing which we should know about the education. Here, the basic issue is to explore different perceptions about education and ultimately formation of an ideal concept of education.
There is no doubt that education is a technical competency along with mental, moral and aesthetic development. It may include subject specific guidelines from trained professional teachers. Subject based curriculum determines the domain of knowledge for different age group. Basically, it is based upon the maturity and proficiency of mind. So, entire educational activities centered up on advancement of knowledge, general awareness, and understanding of latest technical update. These activities can be classified as recreational, educational and society oriented activity. Because, the prime aim of such activities is building strong foundation for proficient future. So the fifth century Athenian philosopher Socrate said education means bringing out of the ideas of universal validity which are latent in the mind of everyman.
